Seoul City has launched a new online newsletter titled “Seoul Life,” aimed at foreigners living in South Korea. In addition, the city introduced the first episode of a collaborative vlog series created by international students and foreign residents living in the metropolitan area.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on Wednesday, the newsletter will be distributed twice monthly via email to subscribers. It is produced by a team of 12 foreign content creators and 10 translators, and will be available in both Korean and English versions.
Interested readers can subscribe at news.seoul.go.kr, and an e-book version will soon be available on global.seoul.go.kr.
The vlog series, named “Sweet Home,” showcases the daily lives of foreign residents living in Seoul. Videos are uploaded to the official YouTube channel.
The first episode features an international student from Uzbekistan and provides practical information for foreigners considering studying or relocating to Seoul. It shares her personal experiences and offers valuable advice for those planning to study in South Korea.
Lee Hae-seon, Director of the Global City Policy Bureau, stated, “We hope that international residents and students living in Korea can share useful information about life in Seoul.”
He added, “We will continue to strive to provide diverse content to offer overseas individuals, who dream of studying or living in Seoul, an indirect experience of the city.”
